In the winter of 2007, The Slant began recording a third cd, entitled "Animanatomy." In a genre some have described as "freak-folk," The Slant has transformed itself through the stylings of different harmonies and various instruments, such as banjo, mandolin, and harmonica, while still sticking with good old fashioned electric guitar.
